Hello! I'm Maria, a multidisciplinary artist based in Victoria , British Columbia . My artistic journey began over 20 years ago when I first picked up a paintbrush as a child. The passion I felt for painting was so intense that I dedicated hours every day to it. This love for art led me to attend art school alongside public school, where I delved into the fundamentals of painting, drawing, composition, art history, clay modeling, and various decorative arts techniques.

After seven enriching years at art school, I continued my education at the Crimean Art College named after I. Samokish in Simferopol, Ukraine. There, I spent my days and nights honing my drawing skills and learning to teach art both in theory and practice. In 2015, I graduated as an artist and art teacher, ready to share my knowledge and passion with others.

Growing up in the coastal town of Yevpatoria, nature was my boundless muse. Every wave, every sunset by the sea was a masterpiece waiting to be painted. My goal was simple: to translate this natural beauty onto canvas and share with the world the emotions it evoked in me.

My favorite painting style is realism, capturing the tiniest details of the world around us. However, I also enjoy infusing my work with touches of abstraction and surrealism, creating a unique blend that brings out beauty in unexpected ways. From serene landscapes to captivating portraits, my art aims to showcase the world's beauty and bring a sense of wonder into your life.
